Spagnuolo Gets Extension

In a not entirely surprising but still kind of exciting decision, Steve Spagnuolo is staying on as the New York Giants' Defensive Coordinator for 4 million dollars over the next two years. In signing this contract he is turning down a possible job as the next Washington Redskins Head Coach. Although one often doesn't get a chance to be a Head Coach, and so most people jump at that opportunity, a guy with Spagnuolo's talent can afford to wait until he finds a situation right for him. I wouldn't want to work for Dan Snyder either.
